There's nothing quite like sitting outside watching the sun rise enjoying a cup of coffee, fresh eggs from the farm, and a tomato picked from the vine; Enjoying a lazy afternoon under a shade tree with a good book and iced tea; Having a family night with board games; Holding a conversation with a couple of geese while watching horses graze; Winding down for the day while star gazing.

This is what Stone Turtle Ranch is all about.

Our location is awesome! On a hot summer day, we love to go to Lake Lawtonka which is right down the road. When we are too lazy to scramble our farm-fresh eggs, we love to grab a "world famous" Meers burger in the old mining "town" of Meers, or a delicious slice of pie at the country diner, Ann's. On some afternoons when we need a break, we mozy on over to the small historic cobblestone town of Medicine Park via the scenic road along Lake Lawtonka's shoreline. After enjoying a nice lunch, browsing the gift shops, nothing tops it off like dipping our toes in Medicine Park's bath lake while chatting with the turtles. On cooler days, we love to hit the hiking trails in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and chat it up with Freddy the buffalo. Carefully, though; they run pretty darn fast. Of course, Oklahoma is notorious for its fast changing weather. No big deal, there are always a few museums on Fort Sill (only a 10 hwy mile drive) and in Lawton.

Martha is tucked away on the farm and is great for star gazing. Martha does not have cable TV or Internet.
